Leyland Clydesdale.

Sitting proudly next to the A5004 (Long Hill) just outside Buxton at Longhill Farm today was this elderly Leyland;




Apart from some missing trim on the front it looks pretty good, hopefully its being looked after and treated well.

    What a wonderful beast! And a survivor. I was indifferent to these at the time they were current, but now this seems to have an air of butch retro about it. I love the condition, too...not all shiny shiny. Excellent find!

      Yes, I would have been quite indifferent as well, at the time I only had eyes for Volvos (F88s of course) and Scanias.
      There's a few old wagons around here hidden about, a farm in Dove Holes is home to several preserved ERFs for example.
